Collegedale, Tenn. (Vocus) March 26, 2010

St. Robert’s Soccer Club (SRSC) of Omaha won the Sunbelt Free Kicks $ 1,000 giveaway in February. They are the sixth US Youth Soccer Club to benefit from the monthly giveaways.

“We were completely taken by surprise at the notification of receiving the donation,” said Mike Bene, president of St. Robert’s Soccer Club. “Like many clubs, we have families that want to participate but are having financial difficulties. Since we never turn away kids from our program for financial reasons, the donation will go a long way to helping with this need.”

In addition to the $ 1,000 donation, SRSC soccer players and their families and friends are earning more cash for their club by going online to SunbeltFreeKicks.com and entering codes located on specially marked box tops of Sunbelt granola bars and Sunbelt fruit and grain bars.

“We are so grateful to Sunbelt for their generous support of youth soccer in our area and across the country through their Free Kicks program,” said Bene. “We sincerely appreciate the donation, and will use it to further our cause of bringing quality recreational soccer to the youth of our community.”

“We’re glad to be able to help the St. Robert’s Soccer Club with its efforts of giving children at all levels the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful game of soccer,” said Jeff Badger, brand manager of Sunbelt. “The Sunbelt Free Kicks program has now given more than $ 20,000 in donations and prizes to players and soccer clubs. Nutrition and physical fitness are cornerstones of Sunbelt, and sponsoring US Youth Soccer is a great way to demonstrate our commitment in these areas.”

SRSC was selected out of more than 700 clubs across the nation that have entered the randomly drawn contest. The drawings are just one part of the Sunbelt Free Kicks program, a nationwide effort sponsored by Sunbelt that helps US Youth Soccer players and their families and friends raise money for soccer equipment, supplies and other club expenses.

Toronto, ON (PRWEB) February 23, 2007

EduKick Inc., a leader in educational and sports experiences for youth abroad, opens enrollment for a unique Hebrew language immersion course and soccer training camp this summer in Israel.

“We are very excited to announce the opening of EduKick Hebrew Language Immersion Summer Soccer Camp in Israel,” said Edukick co-founder, Corey Zimmerman. “As president of EduKick Inc. and a Jewish-American, I am very proud to offer other Jewish families this unique opportunity in Israel.”

Hebrew Language Immersion Summer Soccer Camp Israel is designed to combine world-class soccer training with full-immersion Hebrew language studies for boys and girls ages 10 to 18. The twenty-day camp kicks off in August of 2007. Tuition includes transportation while in Israel, room and board, daily soccer and language tutoring, regular cultural excursions, and social activities.

Students will stay in the heart of Israel, forty minutes from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, at Kannot Youth Village, a gated agricultural community for youth. Continuous, professional security will be provided at Soccer Camp Israel and during all cultural outings.

EduKick has teamed up with Israel Experts, the leading provider of educational tours in Israel, to provide professional bilingual instructors and coaches for their Israeli Soccer Camp. The Hebrew language immersion courses offered at Soccer Camp Israel make every effort to surround kids in the Hebrew culture. From the duration of their stay in Israel, camp participants will achieve maximum fluency by hearing and speaking the Hebrew language constantly.

Soccer training at the Israeli camp will be coached by former professional Israeli soccer player and longtime youth coach, Mr. Paritzky Isaac. Paritzky has fifteen years of experience training young soccer players and has served an instructor in Kannot Youth Village for twenty five years. In addition to a minimum of two hours soccer training each day, Edukick youth will compete with Israeli youth teams whenever possible.

Soccer training offered at the camp focuses on:

     Strength and Conditioning

Technical Precision

Tactical Development

Sport Psychology Coaching.

Combining Hebrew language instruction with high-level soccer training in such a unique setting promises a once in a life time opportunity for children. Visit http://www.EduKick.com to learn more about Soccer Camp Israel and to enroll for summer 2007.

Hector Collado, GM at Gus Machado of Kendall and Scott Georgeson, President at Soccer 5, with a new Soccer 5 Ford Fiesta

Miami, FL (PRWEB) December 1, 2010

http://www.soccer5usa.com is one of Florida’s most up and coming soccer operations, and today announced an auto partnership with http://www.gusmachadoford.com, one of Florida’s premier Ford dealerships.

“We are very excited to be launching SOCCER 5 TEAM GUS MACHADO FORD so quickly after the phenomenal success of Soccer 5 USA,” said Scott Georgeson, President for Soccer 5. “This partnership gives us the platform to really develop our Play, Talk, and Shop – and now drive soccer! We look forward to providing great value to all Soccer 5 members as we introduce Team Gus Machado Ford – honk your horn when you see our Soccer 5 Fords in your area soon!”

And Hector Collado, General Manager at http://www.gusmachadoford.com added “when the Soccer 5 guys spoke to us about a partnership we got very excited about the possibilities of us further increasing our involvement both in soccer and the local community, and we will be introducing a series of initiatives, open days and a Gus Machado League to maximize on our exposure with the auto partnership”. Hector added “we’ll also feature the new Ford Fiesta on their http://www.soccer5live.com video and talk site – watch out for Team Soccer 5 Gus Machado Ford!”

Earlier this year, Soccer 5 USA entered in an agreement with Miami-Dade Parks and Recreation Department to design, build, and operate 5v5 Soccer facilities at the Kendall Soccer Park – http://www.soccer5usa.com/miami . Soccer 5’s ultimate goal is to encourage the local and national interest in Soccer in the US, which has been bolstered by the admirable performance of the US team at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Their premise is simple and has been reiterated in numerous articles that try to understand the lack of interest for the sport in the US; Americans find the game long and feel that there are too few points scored per match. Soccer 5’s 5v5 matches seek to resolve both issues by making the field proportionately smaller, resulting in a shorter, more dynamic game with a higher score average.

About Soccer 5 USA:

The evolution of 5v5 soccer in the USA, a game for all ages and skill levels for all who play soccer, talk soccer, shop soccer. And soccer 5 mission is to see 5 v 5 soccer being played in every city by World Cup 2014, and doing all it can to support ‘the game is in the US’ World Cup future bid.

For further information on Soccer 5 USA or scheduling, contact Scott Georgeson, President, US Soccer 5 LLC, 8011 SW 127 Ave, Miami 33183 Tel: 1 888 575 2976.

About Gus Machado Ford:

Gus Machado Ford is one of South Florida’s most trusted http://www.ford.com Dealerships with locations in Kendall and Hialeah Miami. The company features the full line of Ford Cars and Trucks, used vehicles, and a full service and parts facility.

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) September 01, 2011

Ruffneck Scarves, based in Seattle, Washington, will continue to be an official scarf provider to Major League Soccer as they renewed an existing agreement with Adidas that extends the deal through the end of 2013.

“The past three seasons working with Adidas and MLS have been nothing short of amazing! We’ve learned a lot from our customers and MLS fans and it’s really helped us continue to exceed expectations on design, delivery and sales ” stated Jeff McIntyre, President of Ruffneck Scarves.

The agreement between Ruffneck Scarves and Adidas enables Ruffneck as a sub-licensee under Adidas to create soccer scarves for MLS fans that are both unique in design and sometimes local-specific in character.

“MLS expansion into cities like Portland, Vancouver and Montreal has really elevated the game.” comments Jeff McIntyre, “Seattle set the trends and with the new cities, we’ve seen an even higher demand for scarves that are unique to each community, like the Rose City scarves in Portland.”

Ruffneck plans to offer a new lineup of scarves for each MLS club for the 2012 season, including the new Montreal Impact. Ruffneck Scarves are available at all stadium concessions, soccer specialty stores and major retailers throughout North America.

Ruffneck Wear, Inc. dba Ruffneck Scarves is based in Seattle, Washington and specializes in custom soccer scarves for youth soccer, high schools and colleges. Ruffneck is also the official scarf provider in North America to several top flight European clubs, Major League Soccer, NCAA, Club America, Chivas Guadalajara, Pumas and Cruz Azul.

Major League Soccer (MLS) is a professional soccer league based in the United States and sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer). The league comprises 18 teams, 16 in the U.S. and two in Canada. MLS represents the top tier of the American and Canadian soccer pyramids.

New York, NY (PRWEB) August 15, 2011

Super Soccer Stars, New York City’s largest and most popular kid’s soccer development program, officially announced the launch of Super Soccer Stars Boston, Super Soccer Stars Los Angeles and Yoga Stars in New York and LA.

Already enrolling hundreds of children, Boston and Los Angeles both launched in multiple neighborhoods. Like Super Soccer Stars New York, Boston and Los Angeles classes combine soccer skills with a fun, non-competitive and educational environment for children ages two and older. The new branches offer classes throughout the entire city. In Boston, the most popular class locations include the Downtown area, Cambridge, Wellesley, Newton, Charlestown and Winchester. In Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Beverly Hills, Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach have quickly become prime locations.

“Boston and Los Angeles are both experiencing growth right now, and we’re absolutely thrilled to bring the best children’s program in New York to parents nationwide,” commented Gustavo Szulansky, president and founder, Super Soccer Stars. “We’ve grown so organically since 2000 that these cities were a natural fit for our program.”

Super Soccer Stars also announced the launch of Yoga Stars – a children’s yoga program for ages 6 weeks and up – in New York and Los Angeles. Yoga Stars helps children develop better body awareness, coordination, and flexibility through a fun, nonjudgmental and nonthreatening activity. Offering everything from Parent & Me Yoga (6 weeks to toddlers) to more challenging poses for 8-13 year olds, Yoga Stars caters to all ability levels. Like Super Soccer Stars, Yoga Stars classes are held city-wide in both New York City and Los Angeles.

“When I opened our first location in 2000, never would I have imagined that we would have over 200 locations in the New York Tri-State region, nearly 20 locations in Boston, over 10 locations in Los Angeles, a yoga program, a Premier advanced and travel program and a toddler movement program, Kick & Play,” says Szulansky. “The addition of Yoga Stars, Boston and LA will certainly catapult Super Soccer Stars programming to that next level.”

This week Soccer 5 will be holding an Open House- there will be TWO open house sessions at KENDALL SOCCER PARK (8011 SW 127th Avenue,33183) on February 2nd from 6-8pm & February 5th from 9-11am. To include your kid(s) RSVP now by calling 1 888 575 2976 or email academy@soccer5usa.com

The Soccer 5 Academy is also proud to announce the addition of youth coach Nelson Valenzuela, who’s a National B License coach & will be joining as the Director of Soccer on a volunteer basis, to which he added “I’m very excited about joining the academy, this is a program that is designed to be fun and innovative for the children in the area. Being a Miami native, I’ve been involved with the youth soccer community in South Florida for many years, and can honestly say there is nothing like the experience we are setting out to provide!”

Following the Recreational program Soccer 5 will be hosting a Spring Camp during the Spring Break school vacation from March 14th to March 18th. For more details contact the Soccer 5 team on 1 888 575 2976

After this the company intend to launch an After School Club. A unique offering Soccer 5 will be working with local educational interns from college providing them invaluable field experience whilst children complete their homework. Soccer instruction will be provided thereafter.

Last year Soccer 5 USA entered in an agreement with Miami-Dade Parks and Recreation Department to design, build, and operate 5v5 Soccer facilities at Kendall Soccer Park – http://www.soccer5usa.com/miami .

(PRWEB) March 25, 2005

Kamal de Gregory, a former professional soccer player and member of the Bahamas National Team, has created a soccer training program especially for youth teams.

Â?I grew up playing soccer in the same situation as most players,Â? said de Gregory. Â?I was motivated to get better, but the proper soccer training resources where not available to me to nurture my potential.Â?

de Gregory developed the 4 Speedy Soccer Skills soccer training program and the Virtual Soccer Trainer to give youth players access to learning and improving basic skills and to help teams create a great playing foundation.

Â?Players who are motivated to get better have the ability to do so at their finger tips. A playerÂ?s soccer growth is no longer solely contingent upon having an exceptional coach to nurture them,Â? said de Gregory.

This basic soccer training is delivered through video using the theory of modeling, in which players are shown the correct way to perform a skill then work to mimic it. The 4 Speedy Soccer Skills program consists of eight sessions that are designed to give players the basics of understanding and building their skills toward improving the general quality of their personal game. Access to the soccer training video tutorials is granted to the Coach, Assistant Coach, and up to 18 players on a team.

Virtual Soccer Trainer is an online program for coaches, players, and parents. It consists of hundreds of 1-3 minute tutorials designed to accelerate beginning and advanced playersÂ? skills, educate parents, and help coaches save time by continuing to train their players off the field. The tutorials range from the basic themes of proper passing technique to advanced topics of defending in the midfield. Soccer drills and online tests have also been created to help teach and reinforce these topics, and all are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at http://www.4Skills.com.

This soccer training program is free to youth teams for a limited time only. To receive this free soccer training program, visit http://www.4Skills.com or call toll-free at 1-866-460-3569. The website also has valuable information on health-related soccer issues, tips from other soccer professionals, and lots of soccer products.

About 4Skills.com

4Skills.com was created after Kamal de Gregory, a professional soccer player, saw the difference in soccer training techniques around the globe. Some methods worked better than others, but de Gregory became dedicated to providing professional soccer training, which was previously only accessible to elite and professional players, to youth teams around the world.
